Help With An Application Form

I am applying for a deputy manager’s post in the mental health unit for the Elderly where I work at as a staff nurse. The patients’ mental health are either bipolar or schizophrenia. A couple also have some mild learning disabilities. Its been a long time since I’ve applied for something and need some help with the main part of the form. Obviously I need to state the reasons why I want the post and what can I offer to the unit in this new position. I know what I want to say but I don’t know how to write it, if that doesn’t sound weird enough already. As I’ll be interviewed by my manager, I want it to come across as clever. She’s a highly dynamic person whereas I’m plain in my speaking, so she makes me very nervous. I know I want to give more quality of care, learn more in leadership as well as still being a team player.

Can someone please give me a few pointers, I really don’t want to mess this up.
