Learn the correct rules of English grammar? It’s ‘know’ not ‘no’.
Will this not depend on the Uni you choose to apply to? I suggest you look up their website. It should say on there. Or email/phone to ask.
I’m not sure about NVQ’s. I know with an HNC you can skip 1st year of the course I am on, so I would assume you should be able to start adult nursing in first year with that.
More importantly; Why are you WANTING to do adult/ordinary/proper nursing (the dark side) instead of the joyous, interesting, intellectually challenging, and, quite frankly, *better* Mental Health Nursing?!
Not sure about NVQs. My university wouldn’t accept them because they said it didn’t give a suitable academic preparation for the essay-writing side of the nursing course, but my uni only did the degree route anyway. You might have more luck in applying for diploma courses rather than degrees.
Each uni has different entry criteria. At my uni, NVQ level 3 would be OK, plus one GCSE at grade C or above.
I hate to be pedantic about this CC but it is Poppylover’s spelling rather than her grammar that is at fault there. (Although there are one or two too many full stops and a missing apostrophe but I am sure Dr C will spot some more errors for us)
An access course or some more GCSE’s would be good, you will have to get used to writing some long and at times rather pointless essays. Don’t listen to Azulinebloo some of my best friends are general nurses, they are not all bad.
Oh and a dictionary would be a good idea ;-).
Shut your face E you fucking idiot.
This blog is so shit.
Sorry, but I have to step in as moderator and issue a warning.
Strong and forthright opinions are welcome here. Abuse and trolling is not. CC, if you want to join in the discussions here, please do so in a more civil manner.
FUCK OFF
IT’S A FREE FUCKING COUNTRY YOU DICKHEAD
OOOH A WARNING. SO SCARED.
Bye bye CC.
A servant of the Space Lizards writes: I think there should’ve been a comma after that “OOOH”, and after the “COUNTRY”.
fuck you dickhead
Hi CC, or may I call you total wibbling plank.
What or who pissed CC off? That was amusing if nothing else.
I wus just thinkg the qaulty of agruiing on Mentel Nurs was geting a lot gooder!
Spelling just for you CC. Grammar also
well fook me dead with a bollock spanner.
Is it possible to troll a blog site for mental health nurses?
Talk about an exercise in futility.
