Which makes this story even more shocking.
Melissa Barton said she is considering legal action after her son’s kindergarten teacher led his classmates to vote him out of class.
After each classmate was allowed to say what they didn’t like about Barton’s 5-year-old son, Alex, his Morningside Elementary teacher said they were going to take a vote, Barton said.
By a 14 to 2 margin, the class voted him out of the class.
Barton said her son is in the process of being diagnosed with Aspberger’s, a type of high-functioning autism. Alex began the testing process in February for an official diagnosis under the suggestion of Morningside Principal Marsha Cully.
That teacher sounds like a…what’s the word I’m looking for…it’s on the tip of my tongue…ah yes, I remember…fucking bitch.
Teachers are supposed to stop the kids from bullying others, not actually lead the bullying themselves.

Cynical OT
This teacher should have been sacked. Who can imagine what the poor child must have gone through?
Apparently the teacher, Ms Portillo, had been party to the decision to put an education plan into effect for Alex following the start of the testing process. So she would have known about his situation.
She should not be allowed to teach again until she learns the meaning of the word “respect” and how to apply it in everyday life.

Sorry that was meant for the last blog.
But should we not all be voting on someone who was suspected of being “Aspergery”. Text your vote to XXXXXXXXXXX(removed)

I recommend Ms Barton give up teaching and instead volunteer to help out with the local Aikido club. As an uke
(person who volunteers to have techniques performed on them).

A slightly pedantic point - Ms Barton was the mother of the child, not the teacher.
I quite like your aikido suggestion. Are there any aikido moves that involve use of the clue bat?
