My assignment is of a critical incident during my acure placement and i thought about increased obs; the problem is its due in 2 weeks on starting placement!! so in terms of leaving it to the last minute perplexes me some what, would there be any ideas of the roles etc of nurse and who is involved in the process from a “helocopter view” of services ;) much apreciated and sorry for the annoying newbie to the site…looks really cool and i hope to be part of this forum for the distant future.

Didn’t understand a word of that. Is it about dealing with a patient with a cocaine induced psychosis, objecting to being sectioned by producing a carving knife? Tip: Don’t use a double exclamation mark as a de-escalation technique, and beware of Olanzapine induced intolerance of missing apostrophies - on the other hand, autistic patients can usually be pacified without the use of tranquillisers, by Punctillious Capitalisation. See you in the ICU. xXx - A patient.

Naughty naughty. Sounds to me like you’re asking people to write your essay for you. You’re best off speaking to nurses on the ground in your placement, by the sounds of it.

Hi Vicarious,

I’m sorry, I didn’t understand enough of the post to offer any advice…..Other than that I do all my essays last minute. It’s not a good way to do it, but a bad habit I can’t break!

As with Azulinebloo, I’m really not sure from your post what it is you’re actually planning to write about. Can you supply a bit more detail?

Would this post not be better placed in one of the discussion forums?
