Sorry guys, but there’ll be no This Week in Mentalists this coming Saturday. I’m going away for a few days break until next Monday, and I won’t have any internet access during that time. So don’t bother shouting for a round-up on Saturday, cos you’ll be talking to yourselves (Shrink, Serotonin, I do mean you two reprobates :p )
Until then, keep it real and keep it argumentative. See you lot next week.
PS. The Guardian has given us another plug. Wooooo!

Socrates, the last time Mental Nurse was featured in the Guardian curiousity got the better of me and I bought a copy. It rankles to this day. When, oh when, will that journalistic giant Richard Littlejohn start to take notice of us ?.

LOL! Last time I bought it was when it became a not-quite-a-tabloid. It’s quite a shocker isn’t it? Especially when your a Telegraph reader… I did notice however, the large number of their writers and journalists that also appear on Radio 4. I always take a copy of the Telegraph down to Mental House when I see the Shrink, lay it on the table with the crossword half done and ask “Eleven down - Demagnitiser smashed in quarrel (12)” . Ha! Then I mention my solicitor. Then my Legal Aid certificate. Then my barrister and how he’s just made QC. Then we begin…

Y’know, this is endemic of all that’s wrong with nursing in the NHS nowadays.
Paid too much so they can swanning off on holidays, got so little work that they can find time to go on holiday, then when they do it’s all so slap shod that there’s no continuity
