Hey guys, im currently at college studying the access to nursing course, im in the process of preparing my personal statement for my uni application, heeeelllp please, we are can have 4000 characters, i have prepared one but i don't feel i have put the right info in, what shall i add that will win me a place? any advice out there?xx

Your personal statement won't win you a place, it may win you an interview slot. I'm not an admissions tutor, but I know they aren't impressed with people who don't put anything on the personal statement, or don't indicate a reason why they want to study the specific branch of nursing they've applied for, or have got the branch they're applying for wrong (e.g. talkiing about how much they want to be an adult nurse when applying for learning disabilities nursing).

Hi, if its not too late try this -> http://www.studentnurse.org.uk…../index.php register, log in and have a warp round in their Personal Statements forum if only to give you a bit of a measuring stick to what other applicants are putting forward on their statements.
Don't copy though, UCAS have smart software to detect plagiarism.
