Is it just me, or my machine, but why is this site so slow to load?

Hi PaulyavaCraker. The site loads at a reasonable speed for me and I access it from a few different machines. There is nothing really that fancy in the site code that should cause problems for older machines. My best guess would be your local network. Please feel free to post some details OS, General details of machine, browser etc and I will see if I can recreate the problem.


If you are running MS-DOS on a 486 though it might be your machine. But DOS is pretty quick :)

Hi, thanks for your speedy reply, might well be me then.. For any other Virgin Broadband customers I would recommend that you google your connection speed- as mine is certainly not what I thought I had recently upgraded to!


note to self – read small print, stay away from comparison sites, stop trying to act interested in IT!
